My love of drawing was noted early on in life. Exhibiting at the ripe old age of 5, my parents’ bedroom wall was involuntarily made host of my debut feature of “Giant Spiders” meticulously drawn with a black crayon. I haven’t stopped drawing and doodling since!
My passion for picture books and children’s illustration came later in life. After having children, I came to see the magical treasures picture books can be. They are little packages of wonder and curiosity that give children and adults alike, an opportunity to explore so many of life’s complexities in safe space. They are pockets of escapism where our minds can wander and get lost in gorgeous details, leading us to discover so much more about ourselves. Being able to be a part of that process is an incredible gift and underpins my entire creative pursuits.
