Vivian Mineker
I’m a Taiwanese-American illustrator with over 10 years of experience turning ideas and stories into engaging, imaginative artwork. Originally from Taiwan and Portland, Oregon, I’m currently based in Panama City, where I create my work digitally while preserving the warmth, texture, and handmade feel of traditional watercolor.
I’ve always been fascinated and inspired by nature, from lush landscapes and curious animals to the small, unexpected details that are easy to overlook. That sense of wonder often finds its way into my work, along with a love of storytelling, atmosphere, and a touch of whimsy. I especially enjoy finding the visual heart of an idea and creating images that feel inviting, expressive, and full of life.
When I’m not illustrating, I love spending time with my son and my dog, exploring new places, and finding inspiration in the world around me. One of the things I love most about being an illustrator is knowing that something I’ve created can connect with someone, make them smile, or bring a little bit of joy to their day.
