Sienna Kim
Sienna is an illustrator/designer living in the sunny Los Angeles area. When she grew up in South Korea, she was one bossy girl who gathered her friends and sisters to draw picture books with her. At that time, her young mind already set a goal to be a picture book artist someday.
After studying visual communication design at the college, she came to the U.S. to study animation at CalArts. Following graduating, she taught animation at Art Institute and has made illustrations for greeting card companies, magazine companies, and book publishers. Sienna's bright and whimsical style is deeply inspired by her daily life, nature, family, daydreaming, and childhood memories. When she is not drawing, she is found at some used book store, reading children's books with a big smile on her.
