Rosalind Maroney
Hi, I'm Rosa, you'll mostly find me in the studio at the top of my house (aka my happy place) busily drawing away and occasionally looking out to the ever-changing sea. I live with my partner and kids who luckily adore books and storytelling as much as I do.
I love creating playful illustrations with human and animal characters that are full of warmth and humour with friendly colour palettes that draw you into their wonder-filled worlds. I am particularly drawn to exploring themes of nature, tiny worlds, child empowerment, navigating big feelings, mindfulness and the joy that kids find in everyday routines. I feel really lucky to work in the wonderful world of books for children and I'm looking forward to illustrating many more including my own Author/Illustrator projects.
