Thanks for clicking on my bio! I'm Purification Hernandez and I have taken a long time to write these words: over 30 years- the time I took to be an illustrator.
At first, when I was a child I drew and drew and drew. It was fun and the pictures seemed to come alive. Then I went to the University of Barcelona for my degree in Fine Arts, specializing in engraving. I also enjoyed, but soon realized that I preferred to keep drawing like as a child. So, I began to illustrate. And the pictures back to life. And so, I've been drawing for advertising, newspapers, magazines and, of course, children's books. Many books, and some like La Lila have become characters in television series.
But the important thing, best of all, it's not what I've done but what we can do together. You have clicked on my biography, and that is a good start so that together make other characters to life. Here we go!
