Merle Goll
Merle grew up in the North of Germany but left the shores of the Baltic Sea after school to spend a year in England. This was more than 25 years ago, and the island has been her home ever since.

After having studied and worked in Bristol as a graphic and motion designer, she now lives near London with her husband and two girls, working as an illustrator. Inspired by the world around her as well as by current affairs, she often visits ‘the sea’ in her illustrations, breathing her own subtle sense of humour into the animate and inanimate life around her.
