I grew up in Wrocław, Poland, and for as long as I can remember I have had a huge weakness for coloured pencils. They worked very well on paper and walls! With a pencil in my hand and lots of doodles on the margins of my maths books, I graduated with a degree in Business and Environmental Sciences.

Then there was Warsaw and London, where, after the birth of my two daughters I discovered the enchanted world of picture books and found my dream job. I doodle every day, officially now, and hope to see my favourite character, Sven the Moose, in a picture book one day. In my free time, I walk my dog Diego, or rollerblade around the area. It's on the move that I come up with the best ideas.
