Lucy lives in Nottinghamshire with her family and sausage dog Frankie. She loves hiking in the Peak District, knitting and drinking a lot of tea.

After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design she realised her true passion was in the humour and quirkiness of children’s publishing. Her children are the inspiration behind most of her work and just like life she enjoys all things bright, playful and fun. She has a propensity to spontaneously combust when not illustrating! After all, it is her work, but also her passion! Thankfully much like a phoenix rising from the ashes, you will later find her hard at work making beautiful and clever illustrations to delight and inspire children, as well as being a super mum to her own!
