Hi! I’m Kate and I’m a freelance illustrator currently based in Saffron Walden, Essex. I graduated from Falmouth university in 2023 with first class honours in illustration.

Although I enjoyed drawing from a young age, my real love of art started when I discovered oil painting as a teenager. Since then, I’ve found love for creating in many mediums, whether that be illustrating books digitally or crocheting gifts for friends. I’ve been drawn to children’s publishing due to my love for magical and mythical worlds, and it’s so exciting to be able to contribute to the next generation of kids who were like me!
In the (very rare) case I’m not drawing I enjoy going for coffees with friends and spending time with my dog, Hank.
