Jenny Taylor
Jenny was born in Scotland but now lives in Preston with her partner and mischievous black cat Pigeon. Since graduating in 2017 Jenny has worked as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, and pub sign painter.
In 2020 Jenny completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration where she quickly found her love for book illustration and character design.
Jenny’s aim with her work is to create fun and quirky illustrations, that are full of belly laughs and packed with nostalgic details. Her favourite things to draw are platters of food, clutter and animals doing ordinary, everyday chores. Jenny takes inspiration from everything around her, keeping a memory bank of weird and wonderful things that will always find their way into her work.
When not working you will most likely find Jenny underneath her cat playing classic videogames or trying to get her head around a new boardgame.
