Heather Dryden
Hi, I'm Heather, and I love anything children’s book related but especially enjoy children’s non-fiction. I grew up in South East London and my background includes a first-class degree in History and English, which fed my love for writing and research.
After graduating, I became a Video Editor and 2D motion designer, which I’ve been doing for the past 15 years. I’ve always drawn and kept a sketchbook since I can remember, but it was only after having children did I realise my drawing could be for them. I’ve been working on my illustration for children since becoming a Mum and love exploring narratives and worlds which can be created for kids. I keep a sketchbook full of pencil, neocolor and brush pens and I finalise my ideas digitally. I live with my husband, two children, two mini lop bunnies and a ragdoll cat, surrounded by lots and lots of books.
