Florencia Gavilan

Florencia Gavilan was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.She graduated as a Graphic Designer at the University of Buenos Aires in 2017 and in 2021 she attended the Postgraduate course in Professional Illustration at the same university.

It was also there that she worked as a teacher of Morphology of the Longinotti chair, between 2017 and 2021. Surprisingly enchanted with teaching, she also taught at the Torcuato Di Tella University, in design.



After living for a year in Australia, in 2019, she represented Latin America in the Tokyo Seeds design project, in Japan. It was that same year that she illustrated her first children's book "Adventures in Troy" for the project Yellow Magic Book for the United States. 



She currently resides in Spain, where she is studying a Master in Illustration at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and eating a lot of tortilla.
