Eric Zhang
Eric Zhang is an illustrator from Chengdu, China. He studied at Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, and Goldsmiths University of London. He now teaches Art in China.
Eric specializes in combining digital painting and traditional media to present fantastic scenes with beautiful pictures.
His debut picture book I want To Go To The Moon was selected by the international jury as a finalists of the silent Book Contest 2023 – Gianni De Conno Award, showcased at Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2023, Merit in the 3x3 International illustration award 2023, and received the Silver Medal in the Key Colours China 2023 Competition, before being published by Clavis in 2025 in Dutch, Spanish, and English, as well as in Korean, Turkish, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
