I grew up in sunny Kansas surrounded by pets (dogs, a cat, lizards, frogs, gerbils and multiple aquariums!).

Needless to say, I grew up drawing animals and they are still my favorite subject! I spent my school days with my head in the clouds, dreaming up magical worlds.
I decided at a young age that I would be an artist when I grew up and I’ve never wavered on that. My favorite time to draw is early in the morning – when everything is calm and the only sounds are the birds singing. I primarily work digitally, but sketch everything by hand in my sketchbooks. When I’m not drawing, I’m gardening with my partner and spending time with my sweet pug, Meena (see if you can spot her in my portfolio!).
