Emily Cooksey
Hello! I’m Emily and I’m an illustrator based in the West Midlands, UK. I studied at the Wolverhampton School of Art, achieving a first-class BA Hons degree and a distinction Master’s degree in Illustration at University, as well as receiving the dean’s prize for excellence in 2020.

My work is created digitally and reflects a hand drawn style, inspired by many memories of reading picture books as a child. I’m passionate about developing dynamic characters and creative illustrations for both fiction and nonfiction alike, with a love of fairy tales, art history, reading and old Hollywood film.
