Elsa Velasco
Elsa is an illustrator and writer from Barcelona. They have a background in science journalism, studying Biomedical Sciences at University of Barcelona.
As a queer and neurodivergent artist and activist, they gravitate towards themes of identity, trauma, and connection, and are passionate about dissident characters.

Elsa enjoys telling multi-layered stories, by relying on symbolism, expressive colour palettes, traditional textures, and dynamic compositions.
Their art draws inspiration from nature’s organic shapes, as well as the diverse expressions of Art Noveau which flourished in Catalonia in the early 20th century.
Elsa is an avid enjoyer of TTRPGs as a form of storytelling, and has been a game master for over a decade.
