Inspired by nature, changing seasons, and the landscapes around her, Danielle creates warm, whimsical illustrations with expressive characters, often featuring tiny critters in expansive worlds. She works mainly in mixed media, layering coloured pencil and gouache to create painterly, atmospheric illustrations inspired by observation and painting en plein air.

As an educator, Danielle works with children and has a natural appreciation for the way they see the world. She is drawn to stories that celebrate curiosity, nature, and magic in everyday moments.
