Ashley King
Hello! I’m Ashley, a passionate Illustrator who specialises in children's books and live in the heart of the Eden Valley, Cumbria. I graduated from Coventry University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Illustration and Animation before my first illustrated book Erica's Elephant was published back in 2016.
I love creating highly detailed illustrations, always hand drawn with a contemporary digital twist. I have over 20 books published and have been lucky to collaborate with many authors including Michael Rosen, Kaye Umansky, Sylvia Bishop and TV Michelin star chef Glynn Purnell.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring historic English Heritage and National Trust properties, meandering around bookshops, wild swimming and walking my dog Milo in the Cumbrian countryside.
