The Wainwright Prizes:
The Wainwright Prizes began in 2013, with the aim of recognising and celebrating books that champion nature, conservation, and environmental writing, and inspire readers to connect more deeply with the natural world. The Prizes are aimed in tribute to Alfred Wainwright, a fellwalker, guidebook author and illustrator.
As the popularity for The Wainwright Prize has grown, they have now expanded to include six categories of awards: including children's fiction, non-fiction, and picture books.

Herd
Published by Bloomsbury, Herd is a visually stunning picture book about love, family, and the meaning of home.
A brave little elephant roams the grasslands and forests each day with his family, struggling to find his home when he moves from place to place every day. But he realises that home may not be a static place, but in fact could be his herd, his family, the ones who love him most.
You can read more about Stephen's book and pick up a copy for your own herd here.
