Art Is For Everyone Premiere

Speaking about her experience, Jess said:

"It was a joy to take part in the film and I had a very fun afternoon meeting the team and answering questions about my work and creative journey.

The screening was exciting and a little daunting having an auditorium full of people watching my face supersized on the big screen but it was beautiful to see how the production pulled it together into a cohesive and thoughtful film.
The Q&A was a lot of fun and the audience asked some excellent questions. Things like; how to create time for creative practice. What things do you listen to whilst you work. Do you feel your practice has changed since you were filmed and the screening. I enjoyed answering and contributing my thoughts…I love to chat! It was a fantastic evening and I wish I could do it again!"

The documentary held a premiere at Opera North, Howard Opera Centre in Leeds, where they showcased the film followed by a Q & A with the featured artists. Audience members emailed their question in for the panel, made up of some of the subjects of the film, including Jess.
